Pandemic borne artistry
Ruth is a self-taught coloured pencil artist and self-described bird nerd. She combines both of these passions to create realistic drawings of birds aiming to capture their character and behavior in each piece.
Ruth, in particular, is keen to combine artwork and conservation. On her social media pages she posts her drawings with the aim of improving the reputation of maligned birds who are most in need of conservation. Her recent pieces include the Hen Harrier and White-backed Vulture.
